    Turning Point

I was raised with the mantra that if I 'didn't eat meat I would waste away'. Okay, I'm underweight and it's understandable that my parents were concerned about their child's nourishment, but it is such a fallacy (a common one) that only meat can give you protein or energy. So I...

for about seven years. a lot of things lead to the decision (including being unwittingly fed a young cow that was my pet. I'm so sorry Billy!!) but what finally did it for me was reading a book called skinny *****. highly recommended.
