    I've been a vegetarian

    My wife and I went vegetarian over 6 years ago,

    (she is a Vegan now) I have so much more energy and i lost weight. My circulation is so good now, I get rock hard, which makes my wife very happy. I stopped eating meat after my Dad got prostate cancer I read about the "The China Study" and it slammed into me, look it up.

    for ethical reasons. It's so sad how we treat animals like objects. When you look at the way we use animals objectively it's just not right for many reasons. If it's not necessary then we shouldn't be doing it.

    I have been a vegetarian

    Technically I am a pescatarian (vegetarian +

    seafood) but I am not a big seafood person. I hate cooked fish and refuse to eat crab and lobster because they are cooked alive. Really the only seafood I eat is the occasional sushi. I was never a big meat person so it wasn't really a hard decision to give it up!

    I've been brought up a vegetarian by my parents

    due to religious beliefs. As an adult, I continue to be a vegetarian because I'm against the killing of animals (for any purpose) and I do feel that vegetarianism is a better lifestyle choice. Some people do make fun of it, but it doesn't bother me :)
