I Am a Vegetarian And I absolutely love it.

I'm not a preachy vegetarian; in fact, a lot of people I know don't even know or remember that I am half the time. It's not for ethical or health reasons (though it truly is healthy), but it's really just a preference. Of course I know a-holes that shove something in my face...

    I'm trying to go vegan,

but there's only one problem... I love cheese too much. I'm going to try eating most of the cheese in the house (I live with my mom who is not vegetarian or vegan) and just eat myself out of it. Also chocolate is a problem. But mostly cheese.

I was a vegan for about 5-6 months

and now; because I don't totally care about ignoring dairy products such as milk and cheese, etc. I have considered and fulfilled the goal to slip into the vegetarian community. Downgrading was definitely a relief as I haven't eaten chocolate in the better half of a year.

and a boring summer’s day, I found my mum in the garden, checked to make sure she was in a good mood, and asked if I could try out vegetarianism for a week. Well, actually I told her that’s what would be happening, and probably sensing the teenage stubbornness behind that...
