Wow, mello, I can tell by looking that that's a great recipe. I make a similar dish but with enough garlic and gorgonzola to knock the doors off the stall.



The most consistent source I've found for great recipes is Madhur Jaffrey. She's put out a series of vegetarian cookbooks from Asian, Middle Eastern, Central and South American cuisines...I've made a few dozen of her recipes and each one has genuinely been delicious. (My veghead friends think I'm brilliant, but I'm not - Madhur Jaffrey is.)

I used Yves meatless turkey ground soy stuff for the main ingredient (I find it near the tofu in my local supermarket), and it was great.  I'm planning on dragging a monstrous sized version to Thanksgiving this year... a little fake gravy and I might just make some new vegetarians (convert them that is... not by means of reproduction, ha ha)

just made a great!!!! new recipe and wanted to share it. i had a head of cabbage, so i based my recipe on it.


shredded cabbage


chopped apples (2)


onion chopped


1 garlic clove chopped


1 cup corn


1 cup kidney beans


1/2 lime squeezed


cumin, oregano, chili powder, sea salt and pepper


mayo (vegan) or regular (i used 2 big tablespoons)


anyways mix all together and YUM!!!!!


you can also add a red pepper chopped, i just didnt have any i substituted the apple and it was so scrumptious!

damn, now i wish i had a kitchen in my dorm! the grilled cheese sound delicious. i loves my spicy foods.
