The Stirs Of Longing On I.M.

Since I made the decision a few months ago, to leave my 28-year marriage, I have experienced a torrent of emotion, unlike anything else in my entire life.  The last few weeks in particular have been nothing short of hellish as those who have received my late night emails...

    That Word Is...

LOYAL I will never knowingly hurt, betray, lie to, cheat or scar anyone I know. I love everyone as if they were my very self. Of course, loyalty means that you will get constructively criticised sometimes, too.

    Sweet Promises

I kept my word to all people who have come in and out of my life-EVERYONE! But for me what's most  important is keeping promises in relationships and again I have kept ALL my promises and more... I have done more than my share in this world.

    You Bet!

I never say I'm going to do something, that I am unsure that I can actually deliver. This annoys my mother sometimes, for when she asks me to do a favor for her, if I am not sure if I can pull it off I won't give her a definite, "It will be done!". :-/ I...

I Remain True to My Word

Even if I had no power, I was str!pped of everything down to my name, my word will remain true and unmoved. Honesty and loyalty, when I can't fulfill a promise I actually get a little annoyed and upset at myself because I feel like I've failed in some way. Call it a form of code...

I Earned My Values and Standards and Continue To Do So Every Day

If I carelessly told people things that they could expect from me and things they could count on and wasn't a woman of my word, I'd really find it hard to live with myself. I often have problems that come not from an uncaring attitude, but rather from my caring too much. Unless...

    I Strive For This

My words are mine ... and i try to keep them. Learned it from another generation. It is a way of life that may be receding.     One must always remember: “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your...

    I Love Joan of Arc

She's everything I would want & love to be. My first awareness of her, I knew she will always be my #1 role model. Even now at the age of 51. When I'm looking for strength and wisdom, I look to her.

    Move Heaven And Earth

I pride myself on keeping my word. I will to everything humanly possible to make it so. I don't give it lightly or with frivolity. I don't make vows generally speaking because it is almost like setting yourself up to fail.

    Simple, Really

I went through an extended phase of chronic lying as an adolescent.  All that earned me was distrust from my friends and teachers, and beatings from my father. On the other hand, when I started telling the truth I (slowly, I must admit) earned the respect of those who once...

I Am a Woman of My Word

I have always been very strong willed and a woman of my word, if I say I am going to do something then I am going to do something. Until it comes to losing weight.......................Then I just cant seem to do that!

I Am A Woman Of My Word

Short and simply put, i would not waste our time telling you something that wasn't true. I would not benefit either of us, and i have better things to do with my time.
