billssr wrote on 09:37AM at Aug 26th, 2011 I just went to a specialist yesterday & he advised me to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. You should have CT scan done to make sure you don't have a tumor. An MRI would be better but I can't have one because I have a Pacer/Defibrillator. I have Meneire's in my right ear & lost 100% hearing in that ear. So I started yesterday with the water & go back in two months. Also low sodium, sugar, alcohol, & no caffeine. Its tough I don't eat out hardly at all do all my cooking at home. Its to hard to control your sodium eating in restaurants. Become aware of labels there is a ton of sodium & sugar in everything. You can forget processed foods as well. You can keep Lozipan in your pocket as they will desolve under your tongue & with an attack you get nauseated and cant take Meclizine with water. Good luck.
