Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 43 People

I go on them anyway.   I really try to live Eleanor Roosevelt's saying "Do one thing every day that scares you." If I'm at a theme park, that one thing is going on a roller coaster. Often more than one, depending on who I'm with. They're kinda fun once...

In the few cases where I've been on a roller coaster, I generally have clung to whomever was next to me, started crying, and repeatedly asked when the ride would end. I know I'm a sucker, but still... I'm never going on one again.

When I was a kid, I have been on a rollercoaster.  I was scared and I had gone not to be treated as a baby.  I'm happy I tried it out and regret it cause I got scared.  At my age, anyone can give me any amount of money - I ain't going.
