For some people they are the only thing keeping them alive. How can I be against that?

For "some" people, yes. I have seen too many friends and now some of my family members being prescribed anti-depressants when all they needed was a little therapy, time with people that love them, and maybe even a little break from life. I see their thoughts being rewired over time and I have also noticed increased apathy with my friends.
