I Am Against Racism

One's race doesn't necessarily make them good

or bad. Like us Italians, there are many of us who are good kind people, and then there are those Italians like Benito Mussolini who were terrible. Race has nothing to do with being good or bad.

    Am Just Saying ...

..Sometimes, racisms is not from just others races or nationality, sometimes it comes from your own kind and worst off, sometimes it comes from your own MIND, the struggle of just being you. No one can always be an angle, especially when misunderstood...

    Racism = Disgusting

My whole life I have been involved with other races than my own. Just to let you know, I am Choctaw, Scottish, English, Cherokee, and a couple of others. I'm a Heinz 57. Anyway, I grew up with cousins who are African-american, Caucasian, and native, as well as Asian, Caucasian...

Read This If You Want To Be Inspired, its amazing how people can change

Julie Widner was terrified — afraid her husband would do something reckless, even disfigure himself. "We had come so far," she says. "We had left the movement, had created a good family life. We had so much to live for. I just thought there has to be someone out there who will...

    I think it's absolutely amazing

that we've mapped the human genome and we still have racists. People are so similar that race is statistically insignificant. I do sometimes fear that people hate me for being white though. I can't really blame them my ancestors did some ****** up **** and I know it. I also...

I See It And It Is So Sad

I have a son who is "mixed" and became quite aware, especially through reading the writings of black authors, and through observation, that we as a world have a lot of growing to do. I want my son to live in a world where people who are adults can see through all the racial...

I really loath it when people play the race

card on everything. I'm black, yes I know it's not nice when a white prison call a coloured person black. I am Black, and regardless of your reason for calling me black, I'm proud to be black. #Period!!

    I've hurt my self physically

and mentally because of racism. I was continuously bullied for many years and I woke up everyday wondering why I was still alive. But I believe there is a reason I didn't take my own life. I have to believe that something good will come out of it.

America looks like it's being divided.

Races are being divided apparently. You see it more in the American media. The shootings, elections, Hollywood/Oscars and others.

I grew up in a very small town.

There were no other faces than white faces. In school, at church and at home I heard and lived with racial slurs, homophobic slurs and prejudice. There was no tolerance for anyone different. I never understood such hatred. As soon as I graduated from high school and left the one...

I am against racism in all its forms.

That means I'm against people of colour getting paid to get a basic education, I'm against Black History Month, I'm against lowering university standards for those who aren't white. I'm all for allowing scholarships for underprivileged but it should be given based on merit, not...

I dont know why the color of our skin matters.

I dont think it matters. I am against people who treat others differently because of their skin tone. Having dark or very white or black or other skin tones wont harm you. It is not a contagious disease or something. I kept hearing people commenting / laughing / gossiping about...

What if I told you racism doesn't exist?

We're all a member of the Human race. What we see is colorism , bigotry, or prejudice. The only form of racism is being a misanthrope.

I have seen and heard too much bashing,

I really don't understand how someone could be

racist, it sounds so stupid hating someone for their color, I just laugh at these stupid people. I look at it this way, I like all white, brown, black, Chinese people as long as your cool with me, I'm cool with you. Not saying I'd be racist if we weren't cool.

I'm against anyone that is against a particular

The word "racist" has done more to divide people

than the actual idea of racism. There are very few true racists. Only gangs. Everyone is born into a gang. We call them families. Orphans form a gang with other orphans. In school we form gangs known as "a circle of friends". We join gangs in the form of sports teams. We...
