    When barefoot, we can feel

so much more from our environment; be this the feel of the carpet, grass, the workings of the vehicle as it rumbles down the road, the energies from nature around us, and many other things. I do many thing with my toes, gripping thing, picking things up, crossing my toes...

    Like I'd Always Tell Mama....

"...if God wanted me to wear shoes, I'd have been born with them on my feet." If I had a nickel for every time my mama said, even as an adult, "Where are your shoes?"... . Lawd, Mama, I don't know. There's probably a couple of pairs in the back seat of my car. And another...

    Usually Barefoot

To be honest, I'm not always barefoot now. At work I'm barefoot more and more, especially in summer, but more often I wear shoes. From December to February is usually too cold in Germany to be outside without shoes all the time. There is no problem to walk barefoot in the snow...

    So Comfortable....

I always have no shoes/ socks on. I do this mostly in the house, of course, but sometimes I'll go outside barefoot. It's just so much more comfortable being barefoot. Socks just feel unnatural.

    Barefoot Is Fun

There is never a time I am not barefoot. It's a simple way to enjoy life. Don't you like feeling the different surfaces under your bare soles? It feels good. I go barefoot absolutely everywhere home, stores, school, ect. It's mostly acceptable being that I live in south Florida...

Going Barefoot Where It Is Frowned Upon

If it weren't for my job, I'd be a 24/7 barefooter, and it does get cold in the winter where I live. I absolutely HATE wearing shoes. One thing I always loved doing is going barefoot in places where its not expected. Like shopping malls, restaurants, and especially anyplace where...

I've loved going barefoot my entire life,

& I've gone entire summers without wearing shoes at all. I work at a swimming pool over the summers, so I can work barefoot. Which means I have no need to wear shoes at all.

Today (June 1st) is National Go Barefoot Day!

I went to the grocery store, 7-11, post office, Best Buy, Petco, ****'s Sporting Goods, bank, and Target. Shorts, my "Barefoot is Better" T-shirt, and of course, barefoot! Where did you go barefoot today?

    The Barefoot Mafia

I live in an apartment complex in Southern California's Orange County. The weather is fairly decent all year long. Because of this, I am fully capable of walking around outside in my bare feet 365 days a year. Due to the climate, I'm far from the only one that takes advantage...

I've been barefoot all the time in San Francisco

for about 3 1/2 months now, and I'm loving it. The mindfulness and presence it has demanded of me has been extraordinary. I've corrected a lot of problems with my gait that I've had for a long time. I used to be really uncomfortable with being dirty, but I've come to really like...

I am barefoot at least 97% of the time at least.

I work at home so I'm always barefoot, and usually nude as well. I call it being "barefoot-all-over". When I go out, it's shorts or jeans, and a shirt, and unless it's really cold, always barefoot. When I exercise on the treadmill, I will wear my Vibram FiveFingers for...

    Yeah That's Me.

I'm always barefoot, you just can't get shoes on me for anything. It all started when I was a kid of 10yrs old. In the early spring to late fall I never wore any shoes at all. When I had to go to school I had on sandals because you wasn't allowed in school barefoot. When I...

    Winter wasn't very cold here,

frost only in 3 or 4 weeks, so I had plenty of occasion to walk barefoot outdoors even in this season. Once I already was a year round barefooter, when I started my barefoot lifestyle c. 25 years ago. Then I had to find a place in life with job and family and it seemed better to...

I've been barefoot for many years.

I don't own any socks and the only footwear I will wear is flip flops this includes the winter because it's all I have! I don't remember what socks feel like and I definitely don't want to know I love my feet being free. What about you? How often do you go barefoot and take the...
