I Am Ambidextrous

the joys of both hands 5,537 People

I am ambidextrous and I can proudly say

that I love it! It wasn't until the 6th grade that I tried writing with my write hand. I had always written with my left and played sports with both hands. For example, in volleyball I can serve with both hands and in basketball I can dribble the ball with both hand, so...

I broke my right arm a several years ago.

I was only right handed then, but I had to write with my left because it hurt too much to write with my right. I can write with both equally now

taught myself to be! I always had this strange

connection with my left hand, I always felt I was really left handed, and maybe my parents forced the right hand on me. idk but I write, brush my teeth and eat pretty well with both hands. :D

i can write legibly with either hand, though it takes more work to do so lefty.  the really odd part is that i pitch right and bat left.  I catch lefty. it drives a friend of mine nuts, because she is teaching me sign language, and for that, one hand is supposed to...

I used to be left handed

when i was younger, then i broke my wrist and had no choice but to use my right hand and now my right hand is more dominant than my left, and it's harder to write with my left but i still can.

    Ambidextrous And Stammering?

I grew up being the only leftie in a family of six, so I learnt to do many things right-handed too. Often my dad would laugh when he found the lock on the front gate totally opposite to how any one else would lock it. Washing cars etc, was easier since when one hand got tired, I...

Dual wielding +4 dexterity -2 charisma.

I bumped elbows with my right handed classmates so I switched to avoid embarrassment. I was bullied for it, and that kinda confused me (what is so wrong about being able to write with both hands?). Still, I wouldn't change myself for the world, it's so useful.

I am ambidextrous, but mostly in my feet. I am right handed, and there are things that I prefer to do with my left hand. But when it comes to my feet, I am fairly balanced in my ability to do things with both feet. In playing soccer, most girls on my team are right footed, and...

Since I was a kid I was always paranoid about

breaking one hand, so I trained myself to use both, funny thing is I have never broken a single bone. I still can't write with my left. Anything long arm for example playing billiards I use left hand shots for accuracy and right hand shots for power shots. My left is my accuracy...

I will admit, I do prefer my right hand.

But I find myself naturally switching to the left all the time. It is really helpful when I get hand cramps and whatnot.

Well, I was! Unhappily I grew up in a time

when writing with your left hand was considered unacceptable. I was smacked every time I used my left. Now I write with my right hand but can still sign with my left. In many ways I am left orientated...I have to lay crockery so the fork is on the right-just cant use it in my...

I write mostly with my left hand.

I used to be able to write good with my right hand, but lately I haven't been using my right hand to write, so it doesn't look as good as with my left. I cut with knife and scissors with my right hand. I throw right handed. I eat left handed. I kick with right foot. Bat...

Simultaneous Drawing And Writing Using Two Hands

I simultaneously draw using my two hands. One hand will be using a pencil, while the other one will be using a pen or vice versa. I can pencil in one hand, while the other hand can ink, and this is performed at the same time. I can also use pencils in both hands or ink...

    The Devils Hand?

I was born this way. My earliest memory

    I always thought I was just right-handed,

since I couldn't write with my left hand. Then I realized that ambidexterity isn't just which hand you can write with, it's that you use both hands...now I know why I sweep and mop with my left, as well as play baseball, hockey, golf, etc.
