I love to spend time to myself time to time,

and I usually go outside for a nice walk. However, my neighborhood is REALLY close together and there are houses EVERYWHERE. It's SOOOOOOOO hard to avoid people when I'm walking. Sometimes, when I see someone at a distance that looks about the same age as me (lol, I have bad...

I usually try to avoid meaningless

conversations. I am very shy to topics that don't interest me. I just smile. But it's hard for me to stop talking about the things that I'm interested in. I like saving my energy for them.

I've found I'm usually only extroverted

when around people that regularly practice some form of meditation and a fascination with consciousnes, as well as a similar level of introversion.

    Introducing Extroverts, Introverts and Ambiverts

This story was prompted by a recent post by one of my very best friends here on ep.  He wrote a story; and for the first time I actually bristled a bit.  All of his writing, ramblings and blogs I have great respect for.  With that said, I found my ego and emotions...

    It's loud and stuffy

and there are more than 20 kids crowded inside the house.i escape outside to pet the family dog and gaze at the stars.it is better than all the chaos inside.but then,I go to a party with only 6 people who I have known since kindergarten and have a great time.i love people,but...

Always Thought There Must Be a 3rd Choice

I was surfing Wikipedia, as is my wont, and came across this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extroversion I've always been described as an Extrovert, and that's what comes out on the Jung personality test and just about every one I've ever taken. I've never disagreed with it...

I was wondering..what does it take to be an

extrovert? Then again, why label? Introvert, extrovert, ambivert are all labels too. No one's born being an introvert or extrovert, its the upbringing and conditioning that makes one introverted or extroverted. So why choose? Well, being an ambivert would be like a balance...

I have been naturally drawn to extroverts all

of my life. Standing with one, or, a crowd of extroverts, I am magically transformed into one of them. But, if the crowd is too large, I can't make that change. The rest of the time, I am, comfortably, an introvert.

I am a shy Ambivert. I enjoy the company of

others, as long as I don't have to talk. I sometimes want to hang around with others and sometimes I want to be alone. I get energy from others and myself.

    Sociable Hermit

I am very sociable, good at public speaking and at ease with people WHEN I feel like being around people other than my family. Which is almost never!
