We are magnificent, we are beautiful..I like to celebrate people by drawing and painting them. Muscle studies are among my favorite..they fascinate me

    No matter the specific shape,

the intended piece, I sit at the wheel calling forth a clone of myself, the curves, the unexpected edges, imperfect, deceptively simple with varying textures and like me, they craved to be touched, held reverently and frequently as both something familiar and surprising, part of...

Often you will see artists carrying at least

one sketchbook wherever they go. a sketchbook is like an artist's personal journal. that's why you should always ask before looking through it. and if the artist shows you only a couple of drawings, remember there is good reason. some things in my journal would scare the living...

    Am I An Artist

I stare with you at the colored palettes on the wall, Chosen, judged, and hung like captured men. You see something there, I see it in you. You stare, you gasp, you cry. I see some things, too; but you don’t see it in me. I look and others gasp, others cry. Your feelings wash...

Somebody once said photography is the easiest

art to be competent at and the hardest to excel at. I spent a lot of time doing fine art but felt my skill level was not high enough. I could visualise but never get down on paper what I saw in my mind. I always had a love of photography and switched to doing it as my major...

that is created using only a computer? I know many find it to be not 'art' at all, and am curious as to what EP artists think.I much prefer creating in the more traditional ways most of the time, but I see the advantage that computer programs offer, mainly saving time, and...
