I don't know why it is considered bigoted

or closed minded to say that religion is a myth, an urban legend, a lie perpetuated by the wealthy and powerful. -- Let's be honest with ourselves. If an adult believes in Santa, they are not practicing rational thought. Why does religion get a pass, and we aren't allowed to...

The argument for or against God is difficult

and rather irrelevant. God is about faith, science is about observation, evidence, repeatable, testable, measurable experimentation. The burden of proof falls on the believers, and it is impossible to empirically prove a negative. Most atheists are agnostic. We don't believe...

I'm impressed to a very negative extent

when someone shoves religion in your face, you argue with provable fact to the contrary, you are assaulted with excerpts from the bible which are not valid in such a discussion, and then, when they have no reply, they see to it that the entire debate is erased. One has to...

    My biggest pet peeve is

when someone asks an atheist, "why are you so against God?". What part of "atheist" is unclear? I'm not against God, I don't hate God, I don't worship Satan, because I believe none of it. I'm not anti God, I just don't have the time of day for it, quite honestly. I've always...

There is no evidence for a God, there isn't even a need for a God to exist. Logic says that God almost certainly does not exist (since it is impossible to prove a negative). Theism also has a huge problem. Believers are REJECTING logic. Can you really trust people that reject...
