I Am An Atheist

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 12,902 People

I don't get this, how come

if we say God doesn't exist or anything like that, it's deemed offensive, but if religious people say about God(s) being magnificent and stuff like that, it's never said to be offensive to us?!

Why do Christians lie they have proof of god?

They quite obviously don't and it's kinda funny watching them try to avoid the topic when I ask for the source of their "evidence" :P I have no problem with their belief but lying to get your point across in a debate is just lame.

It doesn't take any effort to be an atheist.

It takes none of your time, and you don't even have to think about it. In fact, you can't even really BE an atheist, because an atheist isn't something that can be defined by itself. There are people who believe a god exists. We call them theists. Atheists are simply not them.

There is no evidence for a God, there isn't even a need for a God to exist. Logic says that God almost certainly does not exist (since it is impossible to prove a negative). Theism also has a huge problem. Believers are REJECTING logic. Can you really trust people that reject...
