    I've noticed a common argument

when I'm talking religion with a Christian. They always bring up that one of us must be right, theoretically. Either it's God or nothing. They're in the clear because if there is a God, they receive no punishment but if there isn't, then nothing happens to them. So, obviously, I...

I personally find no comfort in the notion of a

god. When I apply morality to the notion, god becomes flawed just like we are. I guess I'm comfortable enough with the unknown that I don't need to insert beliefs into those gaps in my knowledge. I won't claim to know one way or the other, but I choose not to believe due to a...

I am god! I created man to be imperfect.

I made man in a way so they can not help but to sin. Then I made those sins morally wrong. Then the only way I can to forgive the flawed creatures I made for breaking the laws I chose is to impregnate a young woman with myself so she can give birth to me so I can grow up and be...

Atheists & Anger - A Blog By Greta Christina

ATHEISTS AND ANGER   I want to talk about atheists and anger.   This has been a hard piece to write, and it may be a hard one to read. I'm not going to be as polite and good-tempered as I usually am in this blog; this piece is about anger, and for once I'm going to...

EP is notorious for its Theist vs.

Atheist debates, but as an atheist, let me just say one thing: If you're religious because it gives you comfort, if it helps you get through the day, if it gives you hope, or if it makes you feel better about life, GREAT. I am so happy for you and I think that is wonderful. I...
