    God Saved Me

One single person from the upper floors of the twin towers survived.  Horribly burned, when the lone survivor left the hospital after more than a year, he made a brief statement to the media saying that it was a miracle that he survived and that god has saved him. What...

Evolution states that all species on earth

evolved from a common universal ancestor that was a one cell bacteria. One species that evolved was primates. Homo sapiens evolved from a primate 200,000 to 250,000 years ago. Wikapedia is one place that explains this, along with numerous others. It is sad and annoying to me...

I Think, Therefore I Am (an Atheist)

I am an atheist, and because of that I believe life is precious. Saying life is precious might sound like something a pro-life religious person would say, so allow me to explain my reasoning. I believe that this short life we are blessed with is all that we will ever have...

    I've noticed a common argument

when I'm talking religion with a Christian. They always bring up that one of us must be right, theoretically. Either it's God or nothing. They're in the clear because if there is a God, they receive no punishment but if there isn't, then nothing happens to them. So, obviously, I...

    I always feel awkward

when a religious person finds out I don't believe in God and tells me I'm going to hell. It's like, I know you're trying to threaten me but I don't believe in hell so your threat really fell short. I feel bad about it. I know they tried their best.
