Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 1,796 People

To all infjs .. how do you live on this planet?

xD I can't continue living as an infj here. Nobody understands us and we can't blame them because we just know things .. you can't explain that , can you? ^_^' I can't do small talks and always think that I'm wasting my time, even though I'm only 18. Obsessed with self...

I'm not sure if this is just me

or if other INFJ's are the same way... But basically I feel like I give off a bad first impression to most people because of my quietness. I think I unintentionally give mean/bad/judging looks to others and along with my quietness this probably makes me appear unapproachable...

    That "knowing" feeling

which all INFJ's possess just amazes me. Our wiring is so supersonic fast that sometimes it has to be more than just a physically wired apparatus. I still think at times it is a gift from above. I believe we are put on this earth as a "tool." When we are that quick it gives us...

    Solitary Figures, Escapists, Dreamers...

To be an INFJ is a mixed bag.  INFJs are graced with amazing powers of insight and intuition.  We have expansive imaginations and can see things most others cannot.  We can read other people like books, and know when we are being fooled.  We are spiritualists...

    Solitude and the Infj

This is my favorite quote... "It is not the physical solitude that actually separates one from others; not physical isolation but spiritual isolation. It's not the desert island nor the stony wilderness that cuts you from people you love. It is the wilderness in the mind...

The Perilous Journey of the Idealist

It will soon be 20 years since the first time I was assessed the Myers-Briggs "sorter" for the first time, and the results showed me to be an INFJ. I was in a work situation, and it was "professionally" done, by someone who was licensed to explain and counsel...

life, logging every detail of my personality, then one day just decided "we'll call that INFJ". I never would have thought that a personality profile could be so damn accurate. It's funny to the point where it's almost scary! :P

that I do not like helping people-it's quite the opposite! I just find it difficult to find balance in my family. I have a loving and caring family, but my ideals are high. I tend to clean up after them and it is exhausting. If I did not do this we would be fine, however, I...
