    INFPs exist for a reason.

We all face many of the same problems, loneliness, sadness, wondering why we exist, but at the same time, we have hope, we are the dreamers of society. I have always loved dreaming, dreaming of perfect worlds without war, dreaming of a world in which I belonged, dreaming of...

Sometimes I Feel Like I'm From Another Planet...

I never felt like I fit in...even in my own family...I always felt like a misfit, an outsider. When I was younger, eventually, I learned how to "play the game", just to be popular, have friends and a sense of belonging. Deep down inside though, I knew I wasn't being true to...

    I Am An INFP

When I was a child in primary school, the memories I have are of not being able to verbally express myself very well, of having very few friends and spending a great deal of my lunchtimes sitting on a rock under a tree, imagining fairies and watching the birds. This pattern...

Why Can't The World Have More Infp's???

I am an INFP in college, and definitely feel like an outsider as many other people on this website have said. When it comes to my confidence level, I feel very confident in who I am. I love me, I love the fact that I follow my heart instead of apathetically following logic and...

    Flare: Who Heals The Healers?

As an introvert, I once sought knowledge of the world. As an intuitive person, I saw what the workings of ignorance did to the best of us. As feelings wash over me like the (in)constant waves, that, As perceiving would have it, I make myself forget as soon as I am dry.  ...

I usually tested as an INTP

until I started to notice how I needed to sometimes control my over-empathic nature and How easy it was for me to put myself in another persons shoes and really understand their perspective. INFP fits so much more, it is like reading my own thoughts.

Reading About the Infp Personality Changed My Outlook

It really did. I was always so conflicted inside about myself. My parents pushed me to be on stage a lot as a kid and teenager because I am musically gifted/inclined. They, like most people, assume that if you can sing and play an instrument it must be that it's your passion and...

Fellow INFP'S do you relate to this? INFs tend to be avoidant/escapist when something is not right. They tend to struggle to see themselves as people of worth, and so do not know if they should bother to get better, or if they should let themselves crash and burn. It is easier...
