Supposedly, most of the top writers are INFPs. I write science fiction.
I'm curious about how personality type relates to genre preferences. I suspect that INFPs like to read epic fantasy and are less inclined to read thriller, hard science fiction, and mystery. What are your favorite authors/genres?
What do you like to write? Is there a difference between what you read and what you write?
I seem to like reading epic fantasy as well or better than science fiction. I have difficulty enjoying books that others consider "quick reads." I also like to read memoir and well-researched historical fiction.

I seem to like nature, ideas, thinking better than people. ...and that makes my feel weird sometimes. Do other INFPs feel this way?
