I Am Annoyed By Atheists Who Celebrate Christmas

For Christians who are annoyed by Atheists who spend all year criticizing Christian beliefs and then at Christmas, want to join in the celebrations. 30 People

    A Contradiction, Much?

As a theistic agnostic, I do celebrate Christmas with my family. I basically am more inclined to believe in God (the Christian God) than not but do have doubts. I haven't completely resigned myself to his existence, and I also haven't completely resigned myself to his non...

I Know Muslims That Celebrate Christmas.

It's about peace, joy, and giving to them.  How can you argue with that?   so who cares what religion they are if they are in the spirit of things?

Lololol The Irony Is Killing Me Xd

You do know that we don't even have any idea when jesus was born? And that Christmas is a Pagan celebration of the winter solstice, with traditions from other cultures mixed in, such as Scandinavian yule? Honestly, if you were a TRUE Christian, you WOULDN'T celebrate Christmas...

    I Am An Atheist

and I celebrate Christmas. The reason why I do, is because I was raised Christian and Christmas is a time of "togetherness." And I find it ironic that you seem so opposed to atheists celebrating this holiday. What happened to "good will to all?" Or whatever it...

I Am Annoyed By Christians Who Celebrate Christmas.

The holiday of Christmas was assimilated by the Christian faith from the Pagan holiday Yule. In fact, the birth of Christ was not even recorded as occurring around the winter solstice. If we look in the bible for the time of Christ's birth, we can confirm it wasn't in December...

    Just Saying...

I don't need to believe in Yule, the Scandinavian fertility god, to enjoy the tradition of Yuletide logs and carols. I don't need to be Wiccan to enjoy the traditions of wreaths or decorating my house with holly and ivy. I don't have to be a Druid to enjoy kissing someone under...

Its An Ancient Festival. Deal With It.

The winter solstice has been celebrated for thousands of years before anyone ever heard of Jews or Christians. Its a Christian overlay, not a Christian holiday. Imperial Rome called it Saturnalia.  It was a 12 day festival of Saturn, the Sun God.  Midwinter solstice is the time...

What Has It Got To Do With Religion?

I am getting sick of people saying this, it has nothing to do with religion. 1. Jesus was born in mars, not december, this is proven by the fact that different texts say he will be born during the first month, and the first month during the time of the roman empire was mars, and...

I am annoyed by atheists who ridicule my beliefs and then celebrate Christmas!

Why do you spend all year criticising the beliefs of Christians, saying there is no God and then as soon as Christmas comes you want to be part of it? If you want to celebrate and eat big dinners with your families and stuff then fine its nice I guess but please don't send...

    Not because I'm Christian

or I have an ax to grind. But because the vast majority of Christmas tradition that people love are pagan in origin. So to see an athiest yell about Christianity then celebrate Christmas makes me ask why they feel the need to attack pagans. It makes them think a few minutes.
