    What Does "Jan" Mean?

    I know this is a stupid question. But I've noticed that all of my Armenian online friends use the word JAN all the time. What does it mean? Please help me And also, it's funny how all your names end with -ian ;)

    Well My Grandfather was Armenian, So that make me part Armenian. I just he was still with us and I was closer to him to learn more of where I came from. I know soo little about the Nationality and wish I knew more of the culture and background.
