    Does anyone else experience intellectual

attraction to people? There's a guy that I want to date purely because he and I are similar intellectually. That and he's never pressure me into sex, because it's not something he wants in a relationship either. Does this make any sense?

Who wants to bet that there’s a huge number

of asexual people out there who don’t know they’re asexual because our society is hypersexualised - if you’re a dude, you’re pathetic, if you’re a woman you’re frigid/a prude/stuck up *****. This isn’t just about identity, this is about people who are shamed into...

    The Realization Of Being Asexual

I remember from when I was about 14 years old, I always felt different from most males, I was never interested in girls as they seemed to be, my mother just said that it was just a phase and that I would like girls some day. At age 16, same thing, my mother said that I was just a...

    I am a sexual... being.

Seriously, what the hell is this? Is it an orientation, or lack thereof? Is it a lifestyle choice or a natural inclination? Is there an absence of arousal? Sorry I'm ignorant, but that's why I ask questions.

Never wanted it. Feel some attraction toward

opposite sex. Will not even get into relationship. Been this way always. My friends thought I was odd not to feel very attracted to guys. I'm picky. Only rarely feel that about anyone I see. Don't really want a part in any that. Love my innocence. But feel like all those...

I will never love someone in that way. I grew up thinking it’d happen. I’d wake up one day And I’d feel some need. I didn’t feel it yet, But someday I would. I would see a beautiful woman Or a man even; Someone who would physically stimulate me And fuel some strange...

    I'm Beginning To Think...

Here's my stance on my sexuality (I'm putting it in list form, since it can get long and rambling if I don't): - I don't feel primary sexual attraction to anyone, regardless of gender. I cannot look at a person, however attractive I may find them, and feel sexually attracted in...

Wondering today the relationship between meds

and asexuality.... I've been on psych meds for years. Is that why I feel this way (or don't feel this way)? I think from what I've been reading the answer might be that meds affect libido, whereas asexuality is about attraction. Makes it complicated though!
