    Dear Dl

You are a constant in my mind From the first time I saw you, with no makeup and your hair pulled up in a hat I knew that I wated to love you, I needed to know you. I told myself I was crazy, that you wasn't the kind to accept my love. So I labeled you my "Straight girl crush" I...

    A Fork In The Road.

This isn't an ethereal mystery, a deep mystery... I am sure that there is a simple explanation. But I will never know what it is, and that's where the power of this story lies. In the mystery. In college, I walked to school across a busy intersection where a large road split in...

    If you're a mystery, I'm suddenly attracted.

.. Don't ask me my name or tell me yours; don't ask about my credentials, I'm not curious about yours... oh, your name is Joe? oh, you work there? oh... meh.

When I was in fourth grade,

a new student joined my class. She had an unusual skin condition, and I was immediately attracted to her. Her condition was vitiligo, although it was a mystery to me at the time. I still find vitiligo incredibly attractive.

    The 5th Guppy

Perhaps it's because I am a scientist and so I struggle with big mysteries every day... But the mysteries that have most captured my imagination are very small but very perplexing ones. For instance, the 5th guppy. A number of years ago, one of my students gave me a bowl of...

    Mysterious Women

i just found this doing some searching and thought it would be appropriate for this group. It's from an old journal entry i thought was worthy enough of a transfer to rich text on my laptop. I would say I am, by all accounts, a masochist- not merely on the level of physical...

Mystery Is The Door To Life's Unfolding...

There is a tantalising beauty in the experience of mystery, which calls to me like nothing else. I am not talking about Agatha Christie's whodunnits, or that new product from Coca-Cola I haven't tasted yet. Mystery is something that runs much deeper. Mystery is the overgrown...

I love people that are contained within

themselves and don't really interact with other people, it just makes me want to get to know that person and who they are...there's always something really intriguing about a person that doesn't give anything away about themselves.

Mystery draws me in. It's like an ocean,

and I'm drowning in it. My curiosity drives me to crazy limits. It will probably get me troubles. I'd resk a lot to disvover a mystery. My family thinks I'll get my self killed because of that.

because mystery creates wonderment and makes us wish to desire more. Mystery doesn’t remain in our eyes its in our mind, the mind guides us and we follow sometimes it leads us to awesome destination while other time it boomerangs yet the path of discovery is always...

    Mystery Stories

Yes, for sure, but not my real life. I don't want my life to be too mysterious. I like to know what to expect day to day. I don't mean that I want to be predictable, but I don't like too many surprises either. I like my life to flow smoothly.

I do some research though I'm a bit scared.

It's strange but I'm not that curious that it could kill me.

    The 2nd Stapler

Another minor, and therefore perhaps more puzzling, mystery. I have a very unusual stapler on my desk at work. It's old, probably from the 50s. It's brown plastic, with a curved base, meant to be used in the hand not on the table. It's flat on the end so it stands up on the desk...
