    Definitely Book Smart

Though maybe it's because my entire life, people've told me I'm nothing but book smart. I guess it's true though. I am a really intelligent girl, but that intelligence only works when it comes to learning. I love to learn and to read, but when it comes to common sense or "...

    Lacking Common Sense

I am book smart. My average GPA in school was a 3.5 and that was with me not studying or really trying. I lack common sense. My partner hates that I lack common sense. He hates that I ask him about the most meaningless things. He always says to me N**** why do you always ask...

I Don't Know What Happened to Me!

I used to be very book smart AND life smart. The older I got, the worse I got with being life smart. haha What on Earth happened to me, I don't know. I get good grades in school (in college) but when someone asks me a simple life question, I turn into a completely different...

Well, thank God that the status quo turned around. Thanks to tv shows like BONES, CSI, CRIMINAL MINDS or MYTHBUSTERS, being a geek is now cool. Being dumb as a doorbell even though you look like a model isn't. So I'd rather be ugly but book-smart, than a life-smart-model.

    Not Even That

I'm not even book smart. I can memorize things, sure. But I do not retain information well. As for "life smart", well, I'm very inadequate at that. It makes me sad just thinking about it.

I'm one of the lucky few who is both. I study my butt off to gain knowledge and I've also experienced several things in my life that have given me knowledge about life itself.

The More Correct Statement Would Be...

That I'm more book smart than I'm life smart. Basically I haven't been around much in my 40 odd years. I love to work with ideas, but practical things are beyond my capabilities. When I was in high school my classmates had fun with me by asking me if I had met Manuela (manuela...

so i lack common sense. not exactly the best attribute to have- but it gives people a good laugh :] something i love to do. I am an overachiever- and always have been. I find education to be my only ticket out of the Bronx and out of the constant stereotypes there are. Life is...
