I Hate Being In Small Places!

i dont like to be in small places, when i'm put into a small place, i'll panic really bad and really need to escape, and it gets rather annoying and plays a part in most of my every day life, cos also if it's a large place with lots of people, thats just as bad, which means...

    I Hate Small Spaces.

I am very claustrophobic. I can't really be in malls when it's busy. I have to have some window open in the car for freash air. I need the window open in my apartment too. I am in and out if the public bathrooms with lightning speed. It's just something I deal with.

    I don't like elevators,

school's corridors, and dressing rooms they're too tiny and hot at the same time, there should be some fans on the roof or windows except on the dressing rooms........... that would be awkward and humm disturbing??

    The Elevator

I was going to the first floor, and of course a little hesitant for an unknown reason at the time, the elevator was a little nerve racking going down stopping on every floor with no one there, and then got to the first floor no problem. I realized that leaving the area I forgot...

I Don't Get The Typical Panic Attack Symptoms, But Still...

I have had it for as long as I can remember. I take public transit all the time, but make a point of avoiding it in the afternoon, between 2:45 and 3:45 aka when the school kids are dismissed. Sometimes however, that does not work. Whenever I get on a super crowded bus aka...

One of my biggest fears has finally happened.

I knew this **** would happen one day. I'm stuck in an elevator. Thankfully there is an one inch crack in the doors. I have a picture that I wanted to attach but my cell phone reception isn't strong enough to load it.

    Need Wide Open Spaces

I have realized over the past couple of years that really small spaces over a prolonged period of time make me claustrophobic.  Never thought that I was.  Elevators don't do it, because i am not in them long enough.   It began to really bother me when I lived in a tiny...

    This Is Awful

I think it can be difficult for people without this affliction to even begin to understand this condition. It can be awful. It can make you have an immediate need to remove yourself from a situation. It can trigger panic attacks. It can make it difficult to function properly...

Hi, I have never really looked at it as a problem coz I avoid my trigger places now. I don't use airplane toilets and always travel with a book to keep me occupied while flying. I don't use elevators that are too full or look old or looks like it can get stuck. Before I book a...

    Underground Is The Worst

For me, claustrophobia has always been worse underground. It's the place where I seem to react to almost any hint of enclosure. I'm not really sure why. When I was 12, my parents took me to Mammoth caves. I don't actually remember a lot of what happened, but I remember my...

I tend to panic when I am forced into small

spaces with a lot of people or even larger spaces with too many people. I even freak out in small spaces. I'm not afraid to get on an elevator, but older elevators and the time between when it stops and when the doors open makes my a little nervous.
