It's Not Yours, So It Doesn't Concern You

I hate how a government that composed of mostly men have the nerve to even talk about what women have the right to do. As far as I'm concerned, each woman controls their own body and it's their property. I really don't like how they think they can pass laws and regulations that...

Great Win In Virginia. . .

Terry McAulliffe bested his tea party rival for governorship of Virginia. There was a gender gap in how the votes split, with a greater percentage of women voting for McAulliffe than men. Now why would that be? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Well... Safe For 2 More Years....

You know, I could never understand why ~any~ woman would vote for the Republicans in the last cycle or two, considering their positions on women's issues. You know all the same ones... defining rape, birth control, equal pay... etc. Apparently the economic arguments from the...

    War On Women

I just recently became involved with UniteWomen .org I had no idea that we, as women, are in real danger of losing the rights that were fought for us years ago. Never imagined that in 2012 contraception would be the main topic of our government. WTH I was proud to...

Michigan lawmakers are currently deciding whether to advance a bill that would require/FORCE women in the state to purchase a separate insurance policy

It's bad enough that a woman gets raped against her will, THEN TO FORCE HER TO PAY FOR IT....THEY'VE GOT TO BE FVCKING KIDDING!  FORCE THE RAPIST TO PAY DAMIT!  OR BETTER YET *******FORCE ALL MEN (as potential rapists and current rapists) TO BUY RAPIST INSURANCE******* INSTEAD...

In my state, the Republican controlled

legislature recently enacted statutes prohibiting physicians from advising pregnant ladies on certain options pertaining to their pregnancy. Less government?

It seems to me more than a little inconsistent

that the Rs proclaim their commitment to smaller and less intrusive government, yet insist on regulating what women can do with their bodies and even what medical advice their doctors may give them.
