No - not British - English.

That's E-N-G-L-I-S-H - English. I hold a British Passport, a British Driving License, I live in Great Britain and I pay British Taxes, but that doesn't change the fact that my nationality is ENGLISH. England is one of the countries of the United Kingdom as well as Europe...

My First Visit to England Okay,

I'm not really from England, but my ancestors were. I went to England for the first time when I was sixteen, with members of my Honors Club here in Upstate New York. We washed cars and held bake sales to help raise the money for the trip, which at that time was not too expensive...

I've heard that to be accepted by the British,

one has to complain about the weather. My father on the other hand, taught me that trying to understand the weather was preferable to complaining about it. But I've discovered over the years that complaining about the weather in England is not optional - it's compulsory! I have...

What I love most about the UK is the fantastic

diversity. What I hate most is the small minded, so-called 'patriotism.' Short hand for fascist. Our grandparents died so that we could live in a free society. Think on that, EDL, BNP, Britain First....and any Daily Mail reading bigots who long for the 'good old days....'
