    Mixed Breed

People always ask me where I'm from, because my accent is not the same as theirs. Born in one country. Lived over twenty in another. Went to find my roots in another and now in the country where my ancestors were born. So I could say I'm European next time someone asks. But after...

to the polls this week (between 22 and 25 May 2014) to elect representatives to the European parliament which is the main check and balance to the executive of the European Union. Turnout will probably be low and, depressingly, nationalist parties like Front National (France...

    Or Mixed White...

My mother is a wasp (or raised, church isn't a big thing any more). So her family is generic British/ German/Italian. I say European because "white" isn't an option. So I get all the perks of the privilege and I wanted that to be known. So I still put, European.

    The Problem Of The Eu

The current problem of the EU in my eyes is simply the wrong allocation of tasks among the different levels of governing. I know that many "EU-specialists" will jump on me and try to explain to me how wrong I am but to them I just say "**** you" - this is my opinion, this is what...
