It takes lifetimes to get anywhere in space.

I think this is undeniable truth, not fixable by technology, ever. The most obvious solutions are of no use:We can't speed up, since it is limited. The faster you go, the more energy you have, and you can't have an infinite amount of energy. We can't use wormholes, since they don...

Boxing Day Bargains and 2009 Pc/video Tech...;)

Last year, my boxing day bargain was picking up 2x2GB SecureDigital camera memory packs for $25. This year, I picked up 2 sticks of 1 GB PC2700 RAM Memory to get my aging PC from a measly 512 MB of memory to 2,512 (and change), each, again for $25. Next year, who knows? ...

I'm not a geek, but I am fascinated at how

things have changed since I was born. My Dad always says he wants to catch up with technology, and I suppose it might seem liked a time warp to him with his working with engines. I need to try to get to terms with how to work things better since I'm a bit of a technophobe.

    Mostly Computers and Electronics

When I was a kid I used to draw a lot. I mean a LOT. I sometimes wonder were all that imagination went, as today I don't have even a small fraction. Anyway, when I entered junior high school, we were allowed a crafts class. My older brother, knowing about my drawings, suggested...

and I think it is so cool!! Just the fact that images and text can teleport from one place to another without the Internet and using a phone line, audio tones for frequencies, and light vs. dark space on paper is SUPER fascinating. Sometimes you gotta love old tech :D
