I Hate That My Country's Health Care System Is Like This

It leaves a lot of people uninsured, or otherwise still having to pay too much for health care. Insurance companies are in control in my country, and from what I read they in this country are corrupt.  And the prices of the different types of health care are extravagant compared...

    No Insurance - No Help

I don't have insurance.  My husband and I can not afford it right now.  I was recently told that I have Crohn's.  Of course I need to go to a specialist and may need surgery.  Guess what, can't afford it.  The medicine that they have me on until I can get...

    It's a Disgrace.

It is an absolute tragedy what our healthcare system has become. Even when you pay and pay they might be able to shut you down and deny treatment. Is is so totally ****** up that it makes me want to move to another country that cares about it's citizens more than industry...

    It's Infuriating

The U.S. ranks 37th in health care efficiency. 37TH!! I'm sorry, but if that is not an obvious sign that something needs to change, there is something seriously wrong.

    Sorry If I Offend!

When I was in 11th grade I did a report on the government in the US. It was for my ethics class, and I can't remember exactly what I did it on. But I do remember this: I was sitting at the computer typing up the report, and my mom was across the room watching tv. We started...

Want to Meet a Congressman Who Will Take a Cut In Pay to Provide Health Coverage to a Wounded Veteran

I am an Canadian, but care deeply for my brothers and sister across the border. I recently heard on CNN that less then 80% of US soldiers have health care coverage in America. This to me is disgusting and completely unacceptable. Now maybe I am a little spoiled in Canada...

    Not Actually the System...

It's more my insurance, which contributes to the system... My company has decided that there will be a $300 limit on all well care in a year....this INCLUDES well baby care.  Let me tell you that's like 1 visit to the pediatrician with all the associated shots.

I Have No Health Insurance! and Proud of It!

I'd probably rather die than go to one of these quacks we call doctors! The last several times I've been to see a doctor, different doctors in fact, it has been a colossal waste of my time. I am one of those people that NPR refers to as "the uninsured" in America. Our...
