Let me start out by saying that I am not religious. I grew up Protestant, but my church was a simple, cozy place with no religious statues or pictures, but I have always been uneasy looking at images of Jesus, even just his face. I've never been able to explain...

The ones of Jesus crucified creep me out... Especially if they are in the dining room. They're scary and I don't like looking at them when I eat. (That sounds wrong but oh well.)
