I think I spend too much time wishing

for the human connection. I wasn't paying attention to the fact that I need to turn into myself more. It's the only real thing one can really have. It's the only actual safety net that works.

    I feel like I've changed

so much in only like 3 years. From my views of virginity and sex. Before I was just a simpler person. I used to think less but now I feel like in plotting all the time, like by not doing my first inclination I'm not being true to myself. And I miss not fully realizing the...

    Future Talk

All this talk about UNI and year 12 is so scary. Next year I'll be an adult, I'll be legal and that doesn't excite me one bit. It scares the crap out of me. I don't want to grow up ever, I wish we could just stay kids forever.

I'm 17 and I feel like my life is going too

fast. When I was younger people told me I was "so mature" for my age. I took school seriously. I even skipped a year of school due to my intelligence. I graduated with honors and an advanced diploma. I enlisted in the army almost the day I turned 17. I'm in a loving long term...

Despair Over A Life Too Tame

When I was a bit younger I found myself in some very crazy situations. And I loved it. I dabbled in drugs - frequently. All kinds. I got high every day. I was carefree and careless and seeing how far I could take myself, what my limits were. It was a scary, destructive time of my...

    Learning Some More..

"The more we learn, the more we realize how big the world is, and how much more we need to learn". I know I'm growin' up, changing as time goes by, growing to be the person I'm meant to be, the person I want to be. I'm learning from who I've been and what I've...

    Starting To Act My Age

I have not been on EP for a very long time. I am somewhat dsappointed in the changes I have discovered...I may well leave for good.  Anyway, it's just that...I am learning to move beyond myself, beyond my own needs and look more at the needs of others and put them first...

Today I spent most of the day around adults.

Some gave me advice. I came to the conclusion that I'm scared to grow up like most. Also today I considered the option of taking my life. Not literally but I thought deeply about it. Rather than going through the whole system of life. I've been living in my head for too long...

This summer has turned out to be less about fun

and more about maturing. I am going into my junior year of high school, and it is about time I start to grow up and find out who I am. I started out the summer with two jobs, one at a zoo, and one at a nursing home. Being an excited 16 year old, I thought I could take on both...

All The Time. And I'm Glad

Yes, I'm glad about it. This past year, I've grown up a lot. When you mention "growing up" a lot of people get the idea that you've become more cynical, more hardened maybe, less fun overall. That's not true. Or, I hope it's not true. To me, it feels like getting to know myself...

In my experience being a teenager you are

constantly stressed or alone. My biggest fear in life is growing up to become a parent that is completely oblivious to how my kids feel or are going through because I know for sure my patents have no clue who I am. It's unfortunate but it's life.

    Growing Up

It’s funny how hard it is to give up happiness. Maybe it is me just being scared. But time takes us all and we are under the impression that we should live for the day. I believe in the no regrets theory, but if we are to give it all each day, we would never last near as long...

and downs. The plus side is you start having more freedom and you start seeing things in a whole new perspective. The harder part is more responsibilities and the loss of the carefree thought process. Things Change and become different and its up to you on how you deal with it...
