    Worried Dad

My 3 year old son is white (American) and Japanese and I want to move some place where he isn't as likely to get bullied by other kids because of it. We are living in a small city (about 200,000) on the Sea of Japan coast now and I'm thinking about changing careers and moving...

My mother was born in 札幌市,

or Sapporo in English. My father was born in Montana, United States Of America. I really have dived into my Japanese heritage, almost as a tribute to my mother. ~Adelaide.

    My Mother...

My mother is Japanese which I find so cool. I find it so interesting when Japanese family members visit us beacause it's nice to see what life is like on their side. I want to move to Japan one day.

    Don't Qualify As A Minority...

This happened to me a few years back, but I thought it was interesting.  Now keep in mind that it was more toward me being Japanese, rather than being a haafu...  Anyway, a friend’s daughter was in an international studies class in Cal State Long Beach and was asked to write...
