    Rotator Cuff Repair Part 4

So I'm almost at 7 weeks. I am free of the sling! Yeah!!! Only use it if I get tired. My arm isn't strong yet so once in a while it still feels good to keep it in the sling. So I haven't burned it yet. I'm able to do more with the arm. My motion is better although still needs...

    I've never had surgery before.

I've been lucky to go this long without. Now after 5 years of dealing with colon issues; I have to lose a section of mine and I'm freakin out. I hear that I will heal and this will solve everything; then I hear it could come back from others. Meanwhile I freak out because I don...

Well That's What He Called It...

I'm still having girl issues and this major monthly hemorrhage is taking me to a new anemic low. Today the Dr said we are going to do a procedure that he's been talking about for a year or so and I'm just going to have to squeeze it into my schedule. It's not a big deal, he...

    Rotator Cuff Repair

Yep, next week Im having surgery on my shoulder. Apparently I tore a muscle, the suprasinatus. Hurts like heck, it's an aggravating pain. The doc gave me a cortisone shot first which helped for about a month. Then came the MRI showing the tear. So time for orthoscopic surgery...

    I'm having surgery tomorrow

and I am terrified. Terrified of everything that could possibly go wrong. I want to be brave. I know that I can put on the face but deep down I am frightened inside. I don't like the idea of seeing my family one last time or doing ANYTHING one last time. I want to be strong. I...

    Jaw Malformity

My jaw malformity isn't obvious to the naked eye unless I point it out.  Basically the right side of my teeth don't touch when I bite down and that's due to my bottom jaw bon being bowed.  It causes extra stress on my right Temporo Mandibular Joint and I already...

I am having surgery tomorrow on my arm.

I'm not really scared I'm pissed off at myself for roller skating in the first place. I had no idea I could break my arm that way. I was trying to keep from breaking my butt, unfortunately I used my arm to break my fall! What a bonehead move

So its been almost three weeks since surgery. I thought I would share my experience for those that might want to know how it is afterwards. For me, the first two days were not too bad, they gave me a nerve block before surgery so I stayed numb until the next morning after surgery...

A Hernia The Size Of A Grapefruit

I had gall bladder surgery in January 2006. Within a year of that surgery I developed a ping pong ball sized lump right under the incision above my belly button. During the last few years I've experienced several long bouts of bronchitis, an acute asthma attack and as a result...
