We have been together for 7 months and I have never physically met him before. I am planning on seeing him in August of this year and cannot wait to meet my future husband.

Bkreinbe wrote on 04:23PM at Jun 12th, 2008 Wow. Congrats!!!
But if you don't mind my asking, how'd you make it work out? I am in a long distance relationship as well. I live in CO and my boyfriend lives in Southern TX. We have very strong feeling for each other. It may even be love. I just want to be sure it lasts.

2Emotionz wrote on 07:51PM at Jun 12th, 2008 Well it involves both of our efforts on making it last. We just keep in contact every single day. When you are far away from the person you are with, all you have is verbal or written communication. We e-mail, talk on the phone everyday, send each other text messages and also write eachother letters. We have even made plans to visit each other. I am going to see him August 20th so we are very excited about meeting face to face. It takes alot of commitment and devotion to each other. If you in fact have strong feelings and you cannot see yourself without him, then you would do anything to make it work. But make sure you guys are communicating as much as possible, because it's easy for the relationship to go sour because you have no physical contact. You can also get a web cam so u can talk to him and look at him the same time.

Moregano wrote on 01:18AM at Mar 12th, 2011 It gets alot harder once you meet him face to face.. Believe me. I met my guy for the first time last year in October.. And now it's the most hardest thing i've ever had to do. But i don't say that to scare you or anything. I just know what it's like to be excited and happy to want to go see the one you love.. I just never thought it would get harder once i got back home.. But i was wrong.. Very wrong.. He's in Cali and i'm in Canada.. So it's 3,010 miles from where i am now.. I miss him soo much all the time.. I wish you the best of luck in your relationship.

lovablehearts wrote on 07:26AM at Apr 14th, 2011 My man lives over 3000 miles from me. He and I have seen each other three weeks in three years... Its the hardest thing Ive ever had to do but maybe one day he will come get me... I love him very much and he loves me but we just cant seem to get him here. We live on Skype, and facebook and thats our only contact. Its hard but we're still going strong. I miss him dearly, and my wedding dress is waiting for him if he ever shows up.... Good luck to all of the people who deal with the pain of a long distance relationship...

brianaw718 wrote on 11:04PM at Aug 14th, 2011 so i live in pennsylvania and my guy lives in spain...thats 3,500+ miles. it really sucks, a lot of LDR can see eachother every 3 weeks or so...i would do ANYTHING to see him every 3 weeks. its so hard i worry about the future all the time but hes always there to reassure me he calls me the negative one and him the possitive one hahaha but i have no doubt in my mind that it will be worth it in the end.

anikakrista wrote on 06:17AM at Aug 16th, 2011 I met my BF online, we haven't met yet. Been together for 4 months so far. Im in California, he is in Michigan. I never thought I would do the whole LDR thing ever! But here I am. One of the hardest things I've done. Every day feels like forever and all I want to do is be with him. It's hard to stay optimistic all the time. I worry about it working out, about it always being long distance. I never thought it possible to love someone you have never physically met. I thought I was crazy for it.....but reading everyones posts is making me feel better. I see I'm not alone out here. Who ever thought it is possible to miss someone you have never met.....but I do. I miss him everyday. My best days are when I hear from him. But we both feel like what we have is worth it. A thanks to everyone on here....it helps knowing I'm not alone:)

aahnaagrwal wrote on 01:00AM at Dec 27th, 2012 Distance does not matter in any relationship. Actually every one want that his/her love always live around,so that they can meet easily to one another. But its not possible when they are far apart. If you have strong desire and true love then distance doesn't matter in these cases. One thing more about this when one meet their love one after a long time that is more loveable moment compare to meet daily. ____________ love problem solutions

AussieQueen84 wrote on 04:52AM at Jan 24th, 2013 I live in Australia and the man I am madly in love with lives on the other side of the world in Mozambique. We're coming to up to our 1 year anniversary and have only been physically together for 1 week. I went to see him in June last year and have only been in contact with him through a computer on Skype and facebook. I miss him soooo much at night when I go to sleep cause I can't feel his arms around me. I miss doing the littlest things with him. We're planning to get married sometime this year when he comes over to see me, but I struggle with having to wait. I basically came on this site to chat with people in the same position, people that know what I'm going through that understand, people to help with the way I'm feeling each day.
