    Nature Is Awesome After All!

Sorry, got a little American there! Awesome! Nature is something to cherish. Nature is something to protect. Nature is something to surround yourself with to refocus things for you. If more city folk went into Nature there would be more being done to protect the natural...

    Nature's Awesome Healing Powers

Not just a walk into the woods and enjoying the sights and sounds. I can't think of much that heals the soul like being in the midst of Nature. But Nature can heal the body as well. It has been awhile since i gathered herbs, wild plants for my craft and healing teas or...

    Spring's Right Around The Corner...

This non-winter has a lot of potential to get a winter lover like me down. Here we are in mid-February and yet to have our first real snow that sticks around the way it does in a 'normal' winter. With each day the sun is climbing higher in the sky, bringing us closer to the...

Unspoiled nature makes me feel small

and humble, and in a world of extreme multi-tasking, giving up control in a big, dense forest can be so, so perfect sometimes.

The Flight Of A Bald Eagle

A few sundays ago, my room mate, dog and I went to the river to explore. Beautiful sunny day, river calm, I surely needed the medicine of Mother Nature. I had been within my cell/self for days now. Heavy with thoughts, loads of prayers. I have always found my balance with I hung...

    No Greater Love

Nature is something I'm close to.

When I'm in nature I can feel the living things around me. There is so much life tucked back in a small canyon or hiking trail. When I'm most alone I'll find myself hiding out in nature where I can find peace and be alone.

    Man can only aspire to

that which Nature delivers. This planet was designed to be our home, but we have been lousy tenants. It's time for a change in how we treat Nature, because although through artifice we try to differ from it, we can never be anything other than part of it.

    Magnificent Snowflakes

I'm amazed at the number of people who live here in northern New England and despise winter. It's a real head-scratcher when some years winter can be nearly 6 months long. These folks spend half the year -and half their lives- in a funk because it's more often than not cold or...

    THE INTIMACY OF A ROSE
