What helped me was a professional debt councilor. I found Payoffcreditcards.us. I was able to set up a payment plan and not declare bankruptcy. I hopes this helps. give them a try.

mtnmel wrote on 10:42AM at Mar 30th, 2011 The reality is some people cannot pay their credit card debt, unless they scarifice monthly necessities like food, rent/mortgage, children's clothing etc. There is no reason to pay credit card debt that has been charged off and sold to a junk debt buyer for 10 cents on the dollar. I was in that position. While I am not proud of it, I was able to avoid $63,000 in credit card debt. With months of research I was able to understand and defeat debt collectors and collection attorneys. I wrote the Credit Card Debt Survival Guide so others could save time and benefit from my knowledge and experience.
