    Ww2

This World War interests me because my father served in the European Theatre.  Things he told me were  few, but I have found out more since his death, in regard to what he did there.  I will add more later.

    Grandpa's Bag

    Veterans

We should honor them for they served our countries faithfully. We should be grateful to them because a different world would have existed without them. And they suffered in the war. Those who were not killed, or wounded but have saw action were nevertheless casualties. To those...

    Grandpa's Panoramic Photos

One of my grandfathers served in WWI. I found two panoramic photos from that time, one had dozens and the other, hundreds of soldiers at an army base. Sadly, the one with fewer men is not in good shape. Couldn't find Grandpa in either photo, though he could be in the missing...

    Mainly Wwii But Both

In both cases, the media was told to mind their own damn business, the UN did not exist (it should not be headquartered on American soil) and the politicians voted for what the military NEEDED, not for more restrictions. Also, what happened in combat, in those days, STAYED in...

    So Much

Never was so much owed by so many to so few. It's probably too late, but I thank you for what you've done for us. I'm thinking how can I repay the debt. Why did you give your life for me? What made you fly into danger, for what values did you die for? Liberty? Democracy? Heroism...
