    My grandfather is Piedmontese in part.

    I am first generation american.

    My father's family moved down to San Remo from

    the hills above over a hundred years ago. It was for work away from the farmlands, and my grandfather moved into France for better work just after the Fifties since everyone was after an Italian waiter at their restaurant to add authenticity.
