I found out I wanted to become Jewish in high school. I was sick one day and I started reading deeply about what being Jewish meant. It so closely followed what I already lived and it made me feel like I had community.

    I recently discovered

that I am Jewish. It wasn't anything major, but my mother happened to mention that her mother was Jewish. So I did some research and discovered that it makes me Jewish. I would like to know more about it.

I didn't grow up in a traditional "practicing" religious Jewish home, but my parents did instill the beliefs of the Jewish Heritage.

I'M Very Proud Of My Religion

I have never been ashamed of being Jewish, no matter where I've been in the world. I am proud of my background and although I wouldn't say I'm "devout" I am practicing and am culturally/racially/religiously Jewish. I'm proud of my heritage, of my background and my community!
