Trial and Error and Error and Error

When my parents adopted me and brought me home, I cried for 6 weeks. They tried formula, they tried milk, they tried all of the "special" formulas for sensitive babies. Nothing worked. I was always sick. Finally, after 6 full weeks of crying and dysentery...

Never realized it before the past few months :(

I'm so sad, a large cup of skim milk used to be one of my favorite treats. But I have definitely noticed a difference in how I feel. Plus, almond milk is delicious! :)

Can't Hang With the Moo Juice.

I haven't been able to drink milk or consume milk products for many years without intense pain and other ill side effects.  I have found a lot of lactose free products in the last years but unfortunately sometimes those even make me sick.  It is a trial and error thing...

    This Saddens Me...

I love cheese...and ice cream...but mostly cheese.  And I can't eat it as much as I would like because of my stupid digestive system.  That makes me so sad...I miss cheese.  But I don't miss being in the ladies' room 85% of the day...so I guess it evens out.

    Dairy Free Is Great!

When I was a baby I had Soya Milk formula and as I grew up it never bothered me that my family would eat ice cream or custard because I knew I didn't like them due to me being violently sick if I did eat them. As years went by I forgot about foods like chocolate, cheese, ice...

It isn't that bad. Just when the fam goes out for ice cream. I've had ice cream mad with coconut milk but you probably can't get that at shops. There are so many alternatives! You can go vegan. There is rice cheese which is lactose free.
