    I Can Do It!

I've got 3 CDs and 4 books to help me learn Japanese. I'm listening and reading them with an open and optimistic mind. I really hope I don't loose my will to learn and get lazy. I love the Japanese language so wish me luck!

I started trying to learn Japanese last year

but gave up from 0.00% motivation. I did however write down loads of Kanji and the meanings, and learnt some vocab plus found some great resources too. What I didn't do was learn hiragana and katakana, which is what I'm doing now.And coming from someone who's a huge nerd and...

I'm using a textbook called Japanese

for Everyone by Susumu Nagara. -I am told it teaches more than both Genki books COMBINED. (Also 20% of the cost of both books, 20$) Also, I'm using Memrise to learn kanji, and KanjiQ on my iphone to learn the stroke order of said kanji. Memrise is bae, use it.

    I Love Kanji.

A Chinese import, the kanj system has found its permanent home in the scripture system of Japan. I can't imagine learning japanese wthout kanji. It's a complex process as you have to remember many things, the strok order, the readings, the meanings and the compounds in which they...
