    Strumming and Writing

I'm learning guitar for the sole purpose of writing songs. Its been such a great tool to my songwriting and ability to just create melodies. I'm not the bombdiggity at it but I'm learning 4 months now. I'm not so good at the finger playing, I'm better at just strumming...

for a while. I am "teaching" myself since I cannot afford lessons. But I've started with chromatic scales and I am working up to chords. This really helps with my sporadic thinking, hopefully I continue!
