I Am More Comfortable Around Girls Than Guys

And With Reason, They're... Well, More Comfortable.

For the most part.  It's not that they're easier to be around necessarily either, i want to point out right away. Women can be a lot of work. By "work", i mean difficult to read and interpret. they can be moody and not make sense (especially to a guy). But as far as...

I have been abused and bullied more by cis guys,

and comforted more by women. Starting with my parents. To put it simply. I feel women are more understanding and compassionate, probably because they are taught and allowed to be.

I was raised by a single mother Werth three

brothers. I get along better with girls because I want to support them like I couldn't support my mom.

And oddly enough, it really bugs me sometimes.

Why do I like being around women more than men? There are times when I think it would be a lot easier and less complicated if it was the other way around.

    Mind You...

... It's always been like this, though I'm not really sure where it comes from. Most particularly in grade school, I was always drawn to female friends and always seemed to seek female approval and attention. I can't really say where that originated, and while some would say it...

As judge mental as some women are,

there isn't the whole sexual aspect that there is with guys.

It used to be the other way around

when I was a kid. I had all guy cousins so that was just what I was used to and it reflected similarly in school. Then at some point guys got really annoying and kind of scary and girls were these exceedingly interesting creatures that I wanted to get to know better (and...

Talk More Easily When I Am Comfortable

So... overall, I had a far more negative relationship with men in my life. Who was I more bullied by in high school?  Boys.  They would have hit me if I wasn't as aggressive (and still am) as I was.  They hit me?  I DEFINITELY hit the sorry milksops back...

I dunno, I just feel calmer

and more at ease when talking to girls. I feel like it's easier to make a legitimate conversation with girls rather than guys. I'm not gay or anything, though that's what people have called me for having more girl-friends (note the hyphen) than guy-friends. Also, I'm a little...

I guess it's always been natural

for me. It started back when I was little, and for some reason, the girls loved being around me and treating me like I was their brother. Later on in life, I realized that whenever I talked with people, I always had more success of having comfortable conversations with women...

    I'm a 20 year old guy

and I'm more comfortable around women then men, but I get the impression that women think I'm hitting on them when I actually just want to be friends. I am not attracted to guys, but I do identify more with women. How do I make it obvious that I'm not hitting on a girl but...

I work in a department with a staff of about 40.

I'm the only man. They'd probably cry if I left- they tell me they love me very often, not that I'm going there with any of them. So, don't get any ideas. I'm strictly professional with them. I go days without speaking with another man. When I do, its often as a shock. When I...
