    My great grandmother on my father's side was almost full blooded Cherokee. Such a beautiful woman she was. Unfortunately, I have almost no connection to my native roots and culture, which saddens me.

    I am Native American.

    It has been a massive part of my life growing up and now. When my husband passed away it helped me more to have Native ceremonies and pray to the Creator then anything else. I have a name and go to powwows. It makes my life feel complete :)
