I Am Neither Republican Or Democrat

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 213 People

Me and Cary share a lot in common.

I also was a huge Democrat and Obama supporter. Now, I flipped. Her explanation fits me almost perfectly.

    Listen conservatives,

nobody elected you because they liked the job you did during the Bush years.. They elected you to stop Obama. It's a reprieve. A second chance. If you don't cast off the Chamber of Commerce, Neoconservatism and crony capitalism, and focus on the middle and lower classes in this...

I'm Only Democrat To Off Set The Republican Tyranny

Some may really think I am a "Democrat" because that is what I support.I was in-between back in the 1990's, but it abhorred me seeing the Evil Policies of the Republican's and the Country as I see it is only really taking these 2 Parties the most Serious and Discarding any other...

I know that im not American

so I may not know all the facts but in my opinion system of this two sides is not much good. I find imporntant things on both sides but also very negative things.

I have a feeling, an intuition

if you will, that this election will bring an end to the two - party hegemony we've had almost since the beginning. If Bernie Sanders loses, which is very likely at this point, I think his supporters will either 1) Vote for Jill Stein instead of Hillary since she is...

Why fit into one particular side?

My opinions surely don't agree completely with either side. Make your own politics, don't force yourself into a set of beliefs if you don't want to!

    Honestly

Does anyone think there is a difference between the two?. I consider them two sides of the same coin. When I vote, I always feel like I'm voting for the lesser jerkoff. I honestly believe that all the rhetoric, debating, and posturing is for show. Behind closed doors they...

    Neither

I remember back in my younger days I was a hard core Democrat. I grew up with President Clinton who despite some of his antics, brought the USA out of a deficit and into a surplus. Then came Bush, Jr. who pushed me to choose to become a democrat. I can say though, I never...

I may be known as a republican by ideals fall

in the middle. People say my candidates that I hope to be president are long shots and a waste of a vote. I tell them, I do not care about whether they have a 0.001% chance of winning, as long as they love the country and have the countries values in their best interest, I will...

Too liberal to be a Republican

and too pro market to be a Democrat. I don't have a horse in the 2016 race. Rand Paul is probably the closest to a suitable Candidate although he has already faded into irrelevance.

I don't really trust our political system.

I think even the sincere become ineffective due to political agendas of others and lobbyist. I still vote based on who's policies I agree with, not bad on any party affiliation, but I rarely have any confidence that anything will change.
