out wrong or sounds strange. I never "mastered" text talk and a lot of what I write drags on too long, I used to blame it on texting and how it's so false. But i realised it was just my problem a while ago.
Usually, I don't. If the phone is on and I get a text, I will usually respond. I don't own a smart phone so it's a challenge working with a flip phone which has several letters assigned to a button. I'd rather call the person to talk anyway.
I don't know about other guys but some people do say that "men suck at texting than women"..
It usually puts me in the situation where I have nothing to say than sending emojis or "lol" or "lmao" or "ok", and then the girl on the other side would 90% get offended.
your spouse? My husband is so mad at me because he says I ignored him when he texted me today. I responded in 16 minutes. Now he is taking the phone away claiming I don't need it because I don't use it. Is there a acceptable response time?
Beside the point I am over 50 so it takes me 5 minutes to text "Hi" (and then normally I will mistype it), I just don't like to text because it is an inferior and less effective method of communication that generally costs more.
