Beside the point I am over 50 so it takes me 5 minutes to text "Hi" (and then normally I will mistype it), I just don't like to text because it is an inferior and less effective method of communication that generally costs more.
The most effective communication uses at least two...
your spouse? My husband is so mad at me because he says I ignored him when he texted me today. I responded in 16 minutes. Now he is taking the phone away claiming I don't need it because I don't use it. Is there a acceptable response time?
Usually, I don't. If the phone is on and I get a text, I will usually respond. I don't own a smart phone so it's a challenge working with a flip phone which has several letters assigned to a button. I'd rather call the person to talk anyway.
out wrong or sounds strange. I never "mastered" text talk and a lot of what I write drags on too long, I used to blame it on texting and how it's so false. But i realised it was just my problem a while ago.
I don't know about other guys but some people do say that "men suck at texting than women"..
It usually puts me in the situation where I have nothing to say than sending emojis or "lol" or "lmao" or "ok", and then the girl on the other side would 90% get offended.
