    * trigger alert* I talked a lot about my own

personal beliefs here and you maynot agree* I grew up in Asia and my family is not religious, so I am not eduated or told from time to time to believe in God. I am glad this is the case, because I am spiritual but not religious. When someone is religious, I mean he or she...

    I am not a Christian,

nor even religious. I am a pagan, an atheist, a philosopher, a free-thinker, and an Ashkanazi Jew. I do not believe in God, nor the power of prayer. I do believe in death, taxes, and compound interest.

Religion as it is, is a deep thought

that was never going to bear any fruit, don't get me wrong, I am not against it, it's completely fine for religion to exist, for us to accept it, but if you NEED religion, than that is the kind of territory which brings more pain and suffering in this world than anything else...

    I'm not an atheist either.

But that won't satisfy my parents, and they take every opportunity to waste time trying to convert me. Sometimes they use tactics such as guilting me for not accepting their word as truth, or demeaning me for my own beliefs. It's hard, and I still live under their roof.

    I'm not one for judging,

it's your life. Do what ever you want with it. But just because you go to church doesn't mean you make God happy. Your faith doesn't make you a good person. Your actions do. Scientist read many books and still feel they have a lot to learn. Yet a religious man barely reads one...
