Currently going through the struggle of

choosing between not doing simple tasks or having a full mental breakdown. Birth control better fix this, this is the one thing I want it to fix. I want to be functional every month, a vast majority of the time. Not what it is now, which weeks can have me being a touchy basket...

    I don't have sex. I have before,

but birth control has nothing to do with that. I take birth control for several reasons. Reason #1: It regulates my period. Reason #2: It regulates my hormones. Reason #3: It counteracts my depression, meaning it helps me maintain a steady, normal daily life because I can't take...

Haha, I am so glad I am on Junel Fe now.

I hated my previous birth control because it caused me multiple issues such as : Depression, overall negative irritated mood and suicidal thoughts. Yes, it was awful. Beware side effects and switch if you are having problems my friends.

Doc put me on Yaz due to health reasons a few

weeks ago. I don't know what the fuss is all about for the pill. I don't feel any different. I did not gain weight, I don't have headaches and my mood is pretty much the same. Perhaps it's just psychological in some women?

    I took birth control

for one full month but I didn't get my next pack on time so I missed two days. I've too ken 16 this month so far and a full pack last month without skipping any. I only skipped the two because I never got it on time. Would it be safe to have sex without a condom?

This new pill I'm taking made my breasts kind

of bigger, which I found it nice in the beginning because I have small breasts (I'm a B cup, sometimes A). But now I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable because they bounce much more, my bras are getting a bit tight. I'm not used to them yet. It's not a big issue, but I...

    Thank Goodness

I was put on birth control pills when I was 14. I was quite irregular in my periods. I went about 8 months without one and then had one very heavily for about 20 days. The doctors were afraid I was losing too much blood, so they put on birth control pills. Thank goodness! My...

..but I Want To Try Going Off The Pill

I love it. I haven't had any major negative

effects. It increases my appetite, makes me gain weight (which I so desperately need to do), keeps my PMS and mood swings away (which could be a mix of birth control and my anti-depressants), and now started my period today. My period normally debilitates me, makes me vomit, get...

But I have a doctors appointment to get a prescription on March 15th. It would be nice to not have to worry so much about getting pregnant. Condoms just don't do it for me anymore. Gets really uncomfortable. It would also be nice to have more regular and lighter periods

Hello, been on 3 different pills in 3 years.

Started on ortho tri cyclin lo - then Nortrel and now genetic ortho. My biggest gripe about the pill is the effect it has on my sex drive - it doesn't exist anymore. Being in the mood is so few and far between. Anyone else have this problem?
