ichiro3 wrote on 03:08AM at Dec 16th, 2009 I'm a 41 yr. old single male and can be very shy. I've been lucky to have a considerable amount of good, enriching relationships, despite myself. I am very dense. For the past year and a half, I have attended this gym and for the first few months, this woman flirted with me and we played what could best be described as peek-a-boo. We've never spoken and despite opportunities, I've never initiated a conversation. So, she's given me signs of exasperation and probably some other things. Despite shyness, I was new in town, had a stressful job that preoccupied me, and the status of the relationship I was in was murky. Does it even make sense to approach her after all of this time?
