kitelemon wrote on 06:39PM at Jan 27th, 2009 I try not to classify myself within the pagan world, but I do have a very strong connection to my Goddess, use prayer and meditation and only very rarely use 'spells.' Part of my spiritual world is strongly connected to 'mediumship,' and with it comes both the good and the bad.
I am currently struggling with something that's a little out of my knowledge range: I had a vision of a thing that looked like a banana shaped purse, but fatter, made of leather or metal, with grass 'fringe' and small coin items hanging from the bottom. The 'handle' was twine. It could have been a necklace, too. I thought it might have been a talisman looking for me, or something strange.
This was before my travels to the ABC islands in the Caribbean. Now, on a frequent basis, months later, I keep dreaming about being altered by a spell. It could be a curse, but I dont know. The part I am not sure of is the origin, but I am often in an island vacation (the real vacation was 6 months ago) and I am being treated for this spell. At the same time the origin of the spell, which seems to be of concern to my 'doctors' comes from the same culture. The people in my dream are all black islanders, and they seem to be fighting for my sanity without letting me know what is really going on, as if they dont want me to know why they are even interested in my well or ill being.
I am white, but my Goddess figure appears to me in meditation as a older black woman, so I am not surprised at the spiritual/racial issue. It just happens to be of very unusual prominence... My question is, is this part of hoodoo/voodoo/African spiritualism (as defined by the treatment of spirits and the dead as ongoing influences in life)?
What is the meaning of any of this? Last night, my left wrist and a grafted vein within it was of great interest to the 'doctor' in my dream. he kept offering teas, but wouldnt tell me what they were for. Two nights ago it was my right hip, right at the socket.
Any info would be helpful, either regarding the meaning of the dream content, the 'talisman' ob
Thanks for any help.

cynthialucille wrote on 12:19PM at Nov 9th, 2011 I would ask your goddess... Hopefully she is a better being than the "goddess" I was contacted by. I would love to trade stories with you. I was once in touch with a being who claimed to be a goddess but when she started asking me to do unreasonable things I realized I should say "no." When I did there was a majorly negative response and I never heard from her again.

Best thing you can do is use fire against fire, A common charm used for protection is brick dust, because in the voodoo tradition all spirits must cross roads, whatever is harming you cannot cross a road made by you. Make a circle of brick dust around your house, or lay out bricks either way make sure it is a complete circle any gaps and it will be ineffective. Circles are a powerful tool any any casting. Next i would get a leather pouch (does not have to be leather but the closer it is to "skin" the better) Now this is the weird part but it may work, leather to represent skin, then you need a piece of your hair/blood to represent you, then put brick dust in it (again protection) and follow it with a ring of salt around that bag. That should counter the curse or at least give those fighting the good fight a better chance. I hope this helps, i am a curse breaker i help with those harmed in any way from any outside force. I understand i have come across your post a few years late hopefully all is well with you. If what has been said here did not help, contact me and i shall assist in greater detail.
