    One of my fondest (and probably weirdest)

    childhood memories is my father singing me to sleep with this song, in his wonderful baritone voice. He told me he rethought the choice of song when he discovered me (at age 3) sitting on the back stoop singing it verbatim and loudly, to passersby. :D
