    I'm Quitting

Because I felt a lot better when I was quit. And because I just realized that instead of running my mouth about this bill, I can do something about it this way. If I quit I'll have paid the bill I was complaining about in a year, with no change to my finances at all....AND I'll...

An impulse while buying gas this morning. Its weird, though, smoking isnt the same. I have a conditioned response to smoke at certain times like sitting in traffic, after eating, when I first get somewhere, etc. So I smoke but I don't really get anything out of it. Also, Im not...

    First Try

I've been smoking for around 3 years and by now every cigarette feels like an old friend. It is a friend I can turn to when I'm angry or upset, when I'm anxious, when I need something to occupy myself. But it is time to go seperate ways. I am quitting smoking because I want to be...

    Vaping Is The Way

So far so good. E-Cigs has kept me away from real cigarettes for over a week now.  But I'm afraid that now I'm addicted to vaping.  I have two different vaping systems, Blu and Halo.  If anyone has had any success with this type of addiction replacement, I'd love to talk it...

    Haven't Smoked At All Today.

2 weeks ago I smoked 2 packs a day, everday. Then I asked my doctor for help quitting and he perscribed Chantix. I've been taking it for a week now and today is my "quit day". It's driving me nuts, but I've resisted so far. It's hard to quit after 8 years of smoking. It...
