Do any of you guys listen to backwards music? Or is it just a christian hoax to damage Ozzy's record sales?
If so, who do you listen to and what have you heard? Any specific names turn up or just garbled phrases?

 

Road to heaven or pathway to heaven

 

I almost didn't reply to this but changed my mind last second. In my experience, no, backwards music holds no secret occult messages or anything. Some songs sound interesting, stairway to heaven by led zepplin, for example. This song sounds almost as good backwards as it does forwards. As for specifically mentioning any member if black Sabbath, Ozzy is a very god fearing man. Not saying he is afraid of god, that's not what that phrase means. Rather, black Sabbath was never satanic. The band wore normal crosses around their necks. They didn't sing about devil worship or anything like that, so their lyrical content is not even "black". I don't remember which member said it, and paraphrasing of course, black Sabbath wasnt a metal band. They were a bluesy, jazzy folk band. I think that's what was said and if you listen to their first few albums you will definitely hear it. But au digress, no, there is nothing to backwards music other than cool sounding bits and pieces.
